This work began as an acrylic painting on canvas, then layered with collage, reclaimed textiles, ex-voto objects, old-stock fabric, and recovered aluminum objects. Each material carries its own history — devotional objects from forgotten shrines, fabric from forgotten stockrooms — given new life in a composition about the prize of life itself.
