Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Your right to withdraw

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from the day you receive the work to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU; Code de la consommation art. L221-18).

How to withdraw

Email fineart@artgence.fr with your order number and a clear statement that you are withdrawing. You may use the model form below, but you are not obliged to. We will acknowledge receipt.

Returning the work

Send the work back without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us. Works must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Because these are unique, often fragile pieces, contact us before shipping so we can agree suitable packing, carrier and the return address — works ship from the artist’s studio, so the return address is not the same for every piece and will be given to you when you notify us.

You bear the direct cost of return unless the work arrived damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the work.

Refunds

We refund all payments received, including the outbound shipping charge you paid, within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the work back or you have supplied proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Damaged in transit

Inspect the work on arrival. If it is damaged, photograph the packaging and the work before unpacking further and contact us within 48 hours.
