Who ships your work

Every piece is unique and packed to order. Works are dispatched directly from the artist’s studio, not from a central warehouse — our artists work in Belgium, Ghana and elsewhere. Artgence arranges and pays the carrier on the artist’s behalf and remains your point of contact throughout.

Where we ship

We ship to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. The available destinations are shown at checkout.

What shipping costs

Shipping is charged at checkout as a flat rate by destination zone, and is shown to you before you pay. It covers insured, tracked carriage with a signature required on delivery. Nothing further is payable to Artgence after checkout.

Timeframes

Because works are packed to order, allow 7 to 14 working days for delivery within the European Union and up to 28 working days for the most distant destinations. The estimate for your destination is shown at checkout. You will receive tracking details when the work is dispatched.

Larger and fragile works

Some pieces — large canvases, sculpture, furniture — need a custom crate, which adds to preparation time. If your work requires specialist handling we will tell you before dispatch. If crating pushes the real carriage cost materially above the rate you were charged, we will contact you before shipping and you may cancel for a full refund rather than pay more.

Customs and import charges

For destinations outside the European Union, import duty, taxes and customs clearance fees may be payable on arrival and are your responsibility as importer. These are set by the destination country and are not included in the price shown. Original works of art frequently attract preferential treatment; your local customs authority can confirm what applies.

If something goes wrong

Contact fineart@artgence.fr. Works are dispatched insured; damage in transit is covered where you notify us within 48 hours of delivery, send photographs of the packaging and the work, and retain the packaging until the claim is settled.
